Overview
Learn to surf and discover the real New Zealand! This trip is much more than a tour, for many it is a life changing experience.
The 5 Day Tour is a surf surfari for beginnners to advanced alike. Our custom tailored surf wagon gets you on the beach to remote locations where you can learn to surf in uncrowded conditions. Our tour takes us to the sub-tropical waters and climate of the winterless North, which offers a variety of waves to suit all abilities.
There are always surprises and last second detours on this trip. Tangaroa and Tawhirimatea, (the gods of the ocean and the elements) ultimately dictate our itinerary. Surfing is all about tide and weather conditions hence the flexible nature of our trip. We base ourselves in Shipwreck bay and head out every day chasing the best waves northland has to offer.
This tour includes:
* 5 days surfing.
* 4 nights accommodation, dormitory style at surf lodges and back packers. Upgrades to Twin and Double are also available (twin $50 and double $75 per night).
* 3 fresh meals daily. And yes, we do cater for vegetarians. Lunch on Monday and Friday is at your own expense while in transit.
* All transportation including pick up and drop off from Auckland city.
* Real surfboards, body boards (by request), wetsuits, and accessories.
* Daily Surf Lessons.
* Beach activities including dune boarding; spotting dolphins, whales and wild horses; and see amazing sunsets as they slide into the ocean.
