Overview
This Milford Sound Flight from Wanaka offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. The landscape changes dramatically throughout the flight encompassing views of spectacular Alpine Highlights in Mount Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks.
Views include the impressive 3030m high Mt Aspiring, many pristine glaciers as well as the huge ice basin known as the Olivine Ice Plateau. Rain forest, alpine lakes, rivers and waterfalls cascade amongst this rugged mountain landscape that is the Southern Alps.
After your flight, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and interesting commentary onboard your cruise. Complementary tea and coffee are provided while you again enjoy views of the full length of the fiord from the water. Wildlife such as seals, penguins and dolphins are often viewed during the cruise.
