This unique amphibious vehicle makes a fantastic journey in and out of the water. The Argo is suitable for all ages and with our friendly 'Argonaught' to drive you, you'll hear fascinating tales of local history and interesting rainforest facts.

We are located only 5 minutes north of Greymouth, West Coast, South Island.

Please note that we require a minimum of 2 adults for this ride to take place.

Session Time

This tour runs for 1 hour. We are open everyday except Christmas Day. Tours operate on demand from 8.30am to 5pm (later by arrangement).

Guidelines & Restrictions

As the Argo is jarring it is not recommended for those who are pregnant or have back problems. Upper body strength is required on the Argo, to be able to hold on to the hand rail. You will not be able to participate if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

In winter a jumper and jeans and in summer a t-shirt and shorts. If it's raining then you can hire a rain jacket for a small charge. The weather does not affect this activity - if it's raining...so what!? The wetter the better!

Child rate applies to those aged 1-15 years of age. Please note that all adventure activities have some element of risk. While we take every step to ensure your safety - you will be asked to sign an indemnity form. We are OSH approved operators. We are Qualmark Visitor Activity Endorsed.
