Jet Boat Huka Falls Adventure

Location: Taupo and Central Volcanic Plateau

Activity Code: HKFJ100

Overview

Overview

Experience a unique combination of excitement and natural beauty of the Huka Falls on this 30-minute thrilling jet boat ride. During your experience, you'll be in the hands of a down-to-earth, funny and professional jet boat driver who can make a jet boat do things you would never believe possible!

We operate four brand new jet boats which incorporate the very latest technology and are powered by a supercharged V6 Buick engine with twin Hamilton Jet units thrusting 800 litres of water a second. These boats offer superior visibility thanks to tiered seats which are also ergonomically moulded and even feature heated and hinged hand rails for enhanced comfort and safety.

The half hour of thrills, fun and excitement will take you along a beautiful river environment, lined with native bush, sheer rock cliff face and natural hot springs. But it's not all smooth sailing as we combine 360 degree spins at incredibly close and disorientating speeds for an amazing must-do jet boat experience, before we even reach the awe inspiring Huka Falls.

From the unique vantage point we have on the boat you have the best water level view of Huka Falls; New Zealand's most visited natural attraction. We are the only jet boat company operating in this stretch of the Waikato River and this is truly the best way to view them!
