Drive a Holden or Ford V8 Racecar Taupo
Overview
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed to our state-of-the-art V8 racing facility and enjoy a complimentary coffee to relax the nerves before starting your adrenalin packed V8 race car driving experience!
After a brief introduction, one of our nationally qualified driving instructors will run through the theory of racing and then it's out to the race track where your team will get you kitted up in race gear, including, a race suit, gloves, boots and helmet. Just before you get strapped into your racecar one of our instructors will take you on a tuition lap to finish off your training as a bonus you can take a mate along for the ride! Before long, you'll be strapped into the cock-pit and then the race is on!
During your V8 driving experience, you'll learn about race lines, breaking points and acceleration techniques over 1 session behind the wheel. Depending on the track, the track conditions and your experience, your top speed will range from anywhere between 150km/h and 200km/h! At the conclusion of your V8 driving experience, you'll receive your very own presentation folder including a certificate and photo to remember your V8 drive day!

Numbers
The price quoted is for one person. For safety reasons, we limit the number of cars on the track at any one time. You will be with others on the day, but you will be one on one with your instructor during your driving session.
Session Time
This experience takes up to 2 hours and runs in wet or dry conditions. Please arrive 5 minutes before your experience time. The experience includes tuition laps and 1 session driving time approximately 10 to 14 minutes.
