Eco Tour and Dolphin Watching
Overview
A full day Eco tour that offers some of the most amazing experiences the Bay of Islands have to offer.
Departing from Paihia, our Eco tour allows you to discover the unique area of Kerikeri. Famous for it's local arts and crafts, while visiting the area you will also have a chance to meet and greet the passionate locals who are taking valuable steps to protect this very special place for many years to come.
The tour includes visits to:
* Living nature - offers some of the most natural cosmetic and skincare products in the world. Enjoy an interactive and knowledgeable tour understanding why Living Nature is becoming world famous. You will be amazed at the way they utilise and protect our natural resources.
* Puketi Forest - Enjoy a guided walk through one of the few remaining Kauri forest.
* Wharepuke Eco Garden - View truly unique plants from around the world. The garden tour highlights some of the changes to the region with the changing environment that we live in.
* Ake Ake Vineyard - Enjoy a complimentary wine tasting at this boutique vineyard which operates under organic principles. Browse through the large array of organic wines or enjoy a quick game of petanque.
In the afternoon, jump aboard our dolphin cruise and see these amazing animals in their natural habitat. The crystal clear waters of the region make it perfect for dolphin spotting. And if conditions are right, you may even have a chance to swim alongside the dolphins.
At the completion of the tour we will then head back to Paihia after a full day of discovery!
