We guarantee breathtaking scenery of sea arches, sea caves, sea stacks and sheltered harbours. Discover local marine mammals as this cruise is often accompanied by dolphins, seals, whales (in season) and even orca!
Take in the sites of the surrounding sea birds including Gannet colonies, breeding grounds of rare seabirds such as Ternlets, and Buller's Shearwater. Also see unique flora - the only home of the colourful Poor Knights Lily.
Discover the Island's history as you hear the tumultuous and tragic Maori history that makes this place so spiritual.
Throughout the trip you'll eat great food including fresh platters to suit all tastes as well as complimentary tea, coffees and snacks. A lunch of sandwiches, salads and muffins is also provided.
We provide kayaks so that you can paddle around caves and arches and among myriad fish. Or perhaps you prefer to take a dip, where you can swim off our specially designed platform in the middle of a Marine Reserve, with masks and snorkels provided.
Or if you feel less active there are multiple decks on which to relax, eat, sunbathe, or you can sit inside in air-conditioned comfort whilst watching marine interaction videos.
