Overview

Your scenic cruise begins at Lake Taupo Boat Harbour. Upon your arrival, our staff will guide you towards the jetty where you will board the Cruise Cat.

Whether in the heat of summer or the cool of winter anytime is an excellent time to relish the fabulous views of Lake Taupo and the surrounding scenery.

You and a friend will smell the fresh coffee brewing as we cruise to the Maori rock carvings - a full commentary on the history of Lake Taupo is given. There is a DVD which can be viewed and this shows all the other fun activities you can do with our company while visiting our region.

On board, you will be served a delicious, full cooked English style breakfast with fresh fruit platters, tea and coffee. There is also a bar where you can purchase additional beverages.

Enjoy a really special morning while taking in fabulous 360 degree views of secluded bays and the spectacular snow covered mountains.

The price quoted is for 2 people. The scenic cruise can host up to 90 people.

Session Time

This experience is available on Sunday, departing at 10.30am and returning at 12.30pm. From 1 November - 30 April, there is an additional departure time of 2pm. Summer weekends and holidays are very busy, so please book well in advance.

We operate in most weather conditions. In extreme weather, this experience may be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. Please bring clothing suitable for the weather. If you want to go out on the decks and it is a cool day a jacket is recommended. Don't forget your camera!

Sunday Brunch is limited to 35 people. Tickets are valid for two people. The Maori Rock carvings can only be viewed by boat or helicopter. We operate in most weather conditions.
