Overview

When you arrive at the Kawarau Bungy Centre, you'll be briefed, weighed and required to sign waiver forms, before heading out onto the historic Kawarau Bridge. Jump deck crew will harness you in and attach foot cuffs before 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... BUNGY! Experience the original 43 metre jump with optional water touch.

You will then lowered into a raft and walked back up to the centre where you can check out photos and videos of your jump (additional cost to be paid on the day) and browse through our selection of exclusive merchandise.

Location

Queenstown (Queenstown - South Island)

We are located 20 minutes outside Queenstown, in the Kawarau Valley. We have transport running between Queenstown and the Kawarau Bungy Centre, as well as plenty of car parks available.

Numbers

Jumpers are scheduled as individuals instead of groups.

Session Time

We operate 7 days a week, with jump trips scheduled from 8.30am onwards. We do not jump at night.

Guidelines & Restrictions

You must be 10 years or older to participate and must weigh more than 35kg. All jumpers must be in good health and feel comfortable in undertaking the bungy challenge. A medical board at the base outlines various health conditions which all jumpers must read and then inform us of any that apply.

Spectators are welcome to visit the Kawarau Bungy Centre to view the jumping. Admission to the Kawarau Bungy Centre is NZ$5 pp (does not apply to jumpers) and entitles the spectator to access all facilities within the Kawarau Bungy Centre including spectator platforms.

Extra Info

Everyone going onto the bridge must read, acknowledge and sign a waiver form as part of their check-in process. We operate in all weather conditions and do not cancel trips.
